VOLUNTEER RETREAT: Kickoff
(Headlands Institute, from

- Overnight retreat, bring sleeping bag, plenty of warm clothes and rain gear!! In the event of rain, the kick off retreat will begin Saturday, Nov 7th at 11:00 am and last till Noon on Sunday Nov 8th. The retreat will take place at the Headlands Institute, located just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. Volunteers are expected to be present the entire weekend (ie no leaving and returning) and wear Amigos-appropriate clothes. Volunteers should bring with them: A sleeping bag and pillow (bunk beds will be provided) Toiletries - including sunscreen Outdoor shoes - no flip flops Warm jacket - it can be quite cold at night Scarf and Hat also recommended Writing materials (paper and pen) Volunteer families interested in carpooling should contact your regional grapefruit groups and communicate directly with each other.
